The Masjid is just not a place for Muslims to gather and pray the obligatory 5 daily prayers and Jumu’ah on Fridays. In addition to service for the five daily prayers, we have several community activities all year round.
Salaatul Jumu’ah [Friday Prayers]:
We offer four shifts for Salaatul Jumu’ah on Fridays. The first shift is held at the Parkwood Facility and it starts exactly at 12:10 pm. The second shifts are one at the Fayetteville Facility and another at the Parkwood facility it starts exactly at 1:10 pm. The last shift at Parkwood starts at 2:00 PM
Ramadan
During Ramadan we offer Salaatul Taraweeh at both of the facilities and with the help of our community members there is an iftar at both of the facilities as well.
The taraweeh is 8 rakats followed by 3 witr. Please check the prayer schedule for the times. And if you are interested in sponsoring one of the iftar, please email admin@ibadarrahman.org.
Eid Festival
JIAR is honored to host an Eid Festival for our community every year. The event is open to all and is packed with numerous activities, inflatables and various ethnic foods.
In addition to the above, there are many other community activities driven by our standings committees. For more information, please contact the chair of the respective committee.
