JIAR Fayetteville St. Masjid

Fayetteville St. Masjid is JIAR’s main facility and it is located next to the Food Lion on 3034 Fayetteville Street. This is where our community gathers to offer the five daily prayers and the congregational Salaatul Jumu’ah on Fridays at 1:10 pm. We also offer Islamic education for adults with specific classes aimed towards brothers and sisters. Classes are held in the evening time. Being the main Masjid, this location is where we offer the majority of our services including marriage services, community gatherings, outreach programs and social events. Non-Muslims interested in visiting our community should come to this location since the majority of our activities are held at the Masjid. In 2011 we constructed a funeral home at this location allowing us the capability to wash the bodies our deceased brothers and sisters and accompany them to the cemetery.
